LEWISTON, MAINE – United Way of Androscoggin County will host the 2022 Campaign Kick-off and Day of Caring on Friday, September 16. The Annual Campaign Kick-off Breakfast will run 7:30 - 9:00 AM at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch, located at 14 Great Falls Plaza.
Following the celebration, hundreds of volunteers from Androscoggin County will make an impact on their communities by completing Day of Caring projects for local non-profit agencies. Day of Caring projects provide fun and meaningful opportunities for local leaders to assist community driven non-profit organizations.
Joleen Bedard, Executive Director of UWAC, says, “Every year, United Way of Androscoggin County joins with volunteers to kick-off our annual campaign and give back to the communities we serve during the Day of Caring. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier community in Androscoggin and Oxford Counties. We hope that you will join us for the Day of Caring, and consider contributing to our annual campaign. We are hopeful for thriving communities.”
