MINOT – Thanksgiving Food Baskets, Christmas Food Baskets, Gifts for Children ~ Minot provides food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as gifts for children in the household. This is open to those within the Town of Minot or RSU#16 school district. There are no income qualifications and people can self-nominate or someone else can do so at MinotME.org under the General Assistance tab. Starting in early November, we reach out to families who have been nominated to make sure they are interested and learn about their households (size, food restrictions and schedule pickup). If there are children and they are participating, we get general information about their interests and clothing sizes so we can make anonymous tags for our giving tree.
